weds 1st april

we had to present our presentation for the evaluation of our films it was different to usual as we were being filmed so we were more under pressure we were second to present as it was better for us to get it out of the way at the end of our presentation we all had a conversation about what went wrong and what we would of changed which we hadnt talked about in our original presentation after we finished sir asked us two questions and he seemed perfectly happy with our answers so i think we managed to say everything we was hoping too. after all the groups had presented there's we had to make the final touches to our presentation; adding in the parts we had talked about during the presentation but we had not included in there after this miss gave us our folders and we handed all of our coursework in !!!!!

audience feed back and evaluation

i was away due to illness on this lesson so i missed out on viewing other films giving feedback and recieving feedback for my groups opening so my group filled me in on my return in order for the evaluation to be completed laura had already started the evaluation of audience feedback so we just needed to finish it we had to not just include our opening but also our preliminary task talking about wether we followed codes and coventions if we stuck to the stereotypical characters what went wrong what went well

final touches

making sure everything was perfect and adding on the credits to our film we put both the preliminary task and the film opening onto a disk

the final filming

we began filming in wednesdays lesson the parts of the female entering the school etc we wudn't have had time to do the filming in the home so we decided to complete that after school although we hadn't finished we uploaded what we had done onto the computer and i began to edit on the following monday the filming was completed so jordan did the voice over and carlie created a question sheet so the audience could give us feedback after they had watched the film

starting again

because of the new shots we had to film we changed the opening totally so that we were only using two character there was no dialogue between them just a voice over from the main female protaganist character which meant we would have to create a new story board

11th march filming

we did the majority of shots today it didn't take to long as evryone was cooperative and we worked well together as a team on the friday i started to edit the shots and put them together ensuring that the continuity was good after the lesson sir came to have a look and what we had done so far and said that it didn't include the codes and conventions that we needed so as a group we decided we would have to refilm in order to get a good grade

preliminary task

this is our final one we had to change the first once due to not being able to get the setting we wanted which was in a house so we ended up using a classroom which meant the age range we were aiming it at would be able to identify with the characters http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ToxFegm5E7A link for video edited

analysis of results

from our results we found that most of our audience are student females that enjoy romantic comedies and going out with their friends which obviously gave us an idea on what genre our film will be and who we are aiming it at. after we analysed all of our results and put together our evaluation as a group. i then created a powerpoint and added in my audience profile of age gender favourite actor film and genre

changes made to questionnaire

after analysing my questionnaire i decided to edit some of the questions one of them being the final one where i asked about people going to university this was far to vague as the information i wanted to gather from this was to see how intelligent my audience was so i changed my question and asked my interviewees what qualifications they had
